  • GENERAL AGENCY STATEMENT
    Lakes Center for Youth & Families provides counseling, intervention, and enrichment programs to youth and their families in the Washington, Anoka, and Chisago County areas.

    POSITION STATEMENT
    This position provides clinical supervision for our clinical trainees, including case consultation, weekly individual/group supervision, and being the rendering provider for billing.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and case managers.

    • Conduct regular supervision sessions to review cases, provide feedback, and support clinical decision-making.

    • Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to best practices and ethical standards.

    • Ensure all clinical services align with organizational policies, legal standards, and licensing requirements.

    • Review clinical documentation and case files to maintain quality standards and compliance with regulations.

    • Encourage and support staff in pursuing continuing education and licensure requirements.

    • Facilitate knowledge-sharing within the team to improve service quality and adopt new practices.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

    • Be a Board Approved Supervisor in Minnesota (LPCC required, LMFT and/or LICSW preferred)

    • Hold a clinical license

    • Possess a comprehensive understanding of development, attachment, systems, and trauma informed theories

    • Knowledge of EHR preferred

    • Experience working with youth and families (preferred)

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Able to work independently; attention to detail; organization and time management skills

    • Passing a national criminal background check

    Job Types: Part-time, Contract

    Pay: From $50.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week

  • GENERAL AGENCY STATEMENT
    Lakes Center for Youth & Families provides counseling, intervention, and enrichment programs primarily to the Forest Lake School District area and Chisago and Washington County.

    POSITION STATEMENT
    This position provides in-school, telehealth, and in-person counseling for children, adolescents, individuals, couples, families, and groups at all stages of life. Counseling sessions may occur virtually, in-person at the agency and/or in schools. This is an exempt full time position. A part-time position may be available upon request.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Provide individual/family counseling and psychoeducational and process-oriented therapy groups

    · Conduct diagnostic assessments and establish treatment plans

    · Collaborate to identify resources and coordinate client care

    · Work with schools/school districts to provide service onsite and virtually

    · Attend clinical supervision as needed and other appropriate meetings

    · Utilize agency billing software program to bill third party payers as directed by your supervisor

    · Coordinate and cooperate with biller to ensure third party reimbursement

    · Work as a team to plan, track, and evaluate program results

    · Provide information and statistics for reports and grants as needed

    · Work with Intervention and Enrichment staff to offer additional programming as needed

    · Establish ongoing relationships with area schools and organizations to enhance client referrals and resources

    · Attend agency events as requested

    · Additional duties as needed

    JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

    · Child and adolescent experience

    · Ability to facilitate educational and support groups

    · Possess a comprehensive understanding of development, attachment, systems, and trauma informed theories

    · Knowledge of EHR preferred

    · Excellent oral and written communication skills

    · Able to work independently; attention to detail; organization and time management skills

    · Must hold MA or MS in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field and hold or be pursuing a licensure in the state of Minnesota (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW)

    · Evening hours are optional

    · An active driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active vehicle insurance

    · Passing a national criminal background check

    BENEFITS

    $60,000 salary for therapists working towards their licensure + paid clinical supervision for required hours
    $70,000 starting salary, DOQ, for therapists who are currently licensed (no paid clinical supervision hours)
