Dear friends and colleagues,
I am writing to let you know that I will be retiring from LC4YF on January 31st, 2018.
I am so honored to have served with Lakes Center for Youth & Families for the last 20 years. My work here has intersected so many efforts that are important to the area: youth development, addiction and chemical services, parenting, mental health school based services, social enterprise for youth and much more!
I want to express my gratitude to you, my staff, board members, colleagues and all of our agency partners for the time, talent and funds you contribute making LC4YF the amazing organization it is today.
Join me on Tuesday, January 23rd, for a farewell gathering hosted by LC4YF at Vannelli’s, (corner of Broadway and Lake in Forest Lake in the bar area) from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Stop by for appetizers and cash bar. Nothing formal, just a chance to socialize for a bit. No gifts. Give to the charity of your choice instead.
I am looking forward to starting the next chapter of my life as I spend more time with my grandchildren and family, and traveling and volunteering. And, of course, I will continue to promote the important work of Lakes Center for Youth & Families and its mission to ensuring the success of our youth through building relationships and involving youth in meaningful activities and learning opportunities.
My successor will be announced soon. So stay tuned!
After January 31st, 2018, I can be reached at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Wishing you all the very best life has to offer.
Best Regards,
Jeanne Walz, Executive Director
