LC4YF, a non-profit 501c3 community based organization provides healthy, meaningful and relevant alternatives for youth ages 10-18. Opportunities include Intervention Services/Community Justice & Diversion programs, Youth & Family Counseling, Youth Enrichment and Mentoring Programs, and Parenting Support & Education. We serve Forest Lake Area School District #831 communities in Washington, Anoka and Chisago counties, and three school districts located in Chisago County.

 

Intervention Manager

LC4YF is seeking a motivated, full time, Intervention Manager. This client-focused position will conduct intakes for the diversion program, facilitate one-on-one skill building sessions, facilitate brief chemical interventions and Chemical Health Screens, serve on local committees, speak at community events, and additional related duties. This position has flexible scheduling with two evenings per week.

Ideal candidates: hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field; have Substance Use Disorder knowledge and experience working with youth/individuals with SUDs; skills in motivational interviewing/de-escalation.

Youth and Family Therapist

Lakes Center for Youth & Families, a community-based nonprofit agency, is seeking a motivated, full time, pre-licensed practitioner (LAMFT, LPC, or LGSW) to join our growing therapy team. This client-centered position will work with all ages, youth and adults, and will provide goal-orientated therapy in both office and onsite at Forest Lake area schools. Further responsibilities of this role will be to conduct diagnostic assessments, establish treatment plans, and collaborate to identify resources and coordinate client care. This position will largely focus on clinical work in school based settings and will also provide therapy services to in-clinic clients with a flexible schedule that may include day time, evening, or Saturday mornings hours.

Clinical supervision towards licensure is provided. In addition to competitive pay, this position includes training opportunities, generous benefits package, and accrual of vacation/sick time.

Candidates must hold MA or MS in Psychology or a mental health related field and be pursuing licensure in the state of Minnesota (LMFT, LPCC, or LICSW). Child/adolescent experience preferred.
