LC4YF, a non-profit 501c3 community based organization provides healthy, meaningful and relevant alternatives for youth ages 10-18. Opportunities include Intervention Services/Community Justice & Diversion programs, Youth & Family Counseling, Youth Enrichment and Mentoring Programs, and Parenting Support & Education. We serve Forest Lake Area School District #831 communities in Washington, Anoka and Chisago counties, and three school districts located in Chisago County.

 

Intervention Manager

LC4YF is seeking a motivated, full time, Intervention Manager. This client-focused position will conduct intakes for the diversion program, facilitate one-on-one skill building sessions, facilitate brief chemical interventions and Chemical Health Screens, serve on local committees, speak at community events, and additional related duties. This position has flexible scheduling with two evenings per week.

Ideal candidates: hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field; have Substance Use Disorder knowledge and experience working with youth/individuals with SUDs; skills in motivational interviewing/de-escalation.

Youth & Family Counselor

LC4YF is seeking a motivated, full time, pre-licensed practitioner (LAMFT/LPC) to join our growing therapy team. This client-focused position may work with all ages, youth and adults, and will provide goal-orientated therapy both in office and onsite at area schools. Further responsibilities of this role will be to conduct diagnostic assessments, establish treatment plans, and collaborate to identify resources and coordinate client care. This position has flexible scheduling with two evenings per week.

Clinical supervision towards licensure is provided. In addition to competitive pay, this position includes training opportunities, generous benefits package, and vacation/sick accrued time.

Candidates must hold MA or MS in Psychology or a behavioral health related field and be pursuing a licensure in the state of Minnesota (LMFT, LPCC). Child/adolescent experience preferred.

Class Facilitator

LC4YF is seeking energetic, compassionate Class Facilitators. This client-focused position will facilitate intervention classes based on a to-be-determined contract/schedule. This position has flexible scheduling with hours ranging from 3-8pm for 2-3 hours per shift. Classes are one or two sessions.

Ideal candidates: hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field; have Substance Use Disorder knowledge and experience working with youth/individuals with SUDs for related classes; skills in motivational interviewing/de-escalation; experience in small groups.
